I love coming to Smokey Row to study or hang out with my friends! The place has a cozy atmosphere, great food, and delicious drinks. It’s one of my favorite spots to relax, chat, or get some work done. The staff are friendly and the vibe is always welcoming.

We stopped here for coffee and dessert. Love the atmosphere of this coffee place and the tiramisu was delicious. I was surprised that the clerk had never heard of a « cortado » before. She was able to make it after I explained to her what it is.

We had such a wonderful experience at Smokey Row on Sunday night. My sister and her three kids, my daughter and I, plus my mom all stopped in, and the entire team was outstanding. A special shout-out to Mily — she was incredibly kind and patient with the kids, talking with them, engaging them, and even walking them through how certain products are made. She truly made the experience fun and memorable for them. Because of the service alone, you’ve absolutely gained new and future loyal customers. Nice place, I've been here a few times and either get a energy drink or a black coffee both are good. Environment is really good though it can get a bit loud when it's busy, but if you don't mind that it's great. Service is normally pretty good too. Overall a nice place, would recommend if your in the area.

Stopped at Smokey Row Coffee Cafe on our way out of town. It’s a large, welcoming space with tons of drink options and plenty of seating — great for studying or hanging out. We had breakfast along with coffee and a chai tea. The food came out hot and fresh, though it’s more of a basic breakfast style (our sandwiches didn’t have any sauce). The chai is made with powder, which isn’t my favorite, but the overall experience was pleasant and the staff was friendly.

Very cute establishment! I walked past while visiting Des Moines on a hot July day and decided to go in for some ice cream. The building is a mixture of 1800s architecture and 1950s furniture. The corner style shop is deceptively large inside. I was met with a smile from a very patient cashier who helped an elderly gentlemen in front of me get his order exactly right. I got a butterscotch malted milkshake. It wasn’t exactly the butterscotch flavor I was expecting, but I was very pleased with the flavor anyways. It cooled me off for my return trek; I’d definitely stop again!
